An indoor high school basketball game is captured mid-action on a polished wooden court. A player in a maroon and gold uniform jumps high in the air to take a jump shot, releasing a basketball that is suspended near the ceiling rafters. Defending him closely is a player wearing a white jersey with "Crusaders" and the number 3, who has both arms extended upward to block the shot. A referee in a traditional black-and-white striped shirt stands in the left foreground, watching the play. In the background, teammates on a bench, spectators, and large school banners—including one featuring a cardinal logo—line the gym wall.

WINTER IS
OUR TIME

Inside the gym. On the range. In every quiet moment of preparation and every high-pressure moment of competition.

This is winter at Northside.

ATHLETICS > WINTER SPORTS

A close-up action shot from an indoor basketball game shows a player wearing a white jersey with "Crusaders" and the number 21 attempting a layup. He is in mid-air, looking upward with intense focus, and extending the basketball toward the hoop with his right hand. Defending the play from the left is an opposing player in a maroon uniform with the number 14, whose left arm is fully extended in an attempt to contest or block the shot. In the blurred background, spectators fill the stands beneath hanging championship banners and the gymnasium's structural ceiling rafters.

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL

Built on effort, teamwork, and the belief that the next play matters most.

A close-up shot captures a person aiming an over-and-under shotgun. The shooter is wearing a dark grey or black baseball cap, protective shooting glasses with reflective lenses, and a grey camo-patterned shirt. Their right hand grips the stock with a finger resting on the trigger, while their left hand supports the wooden forend of the barrel. The shotgun features a polished metal receiver and a rich wood finish. The background shows a softly blurred outdoor setting with green foliage and natural bokeh lighting.
