The Northside Christian Middle School Boys Basketball team completed a season sweep of 3A Wilson Hall with a 37-29 win on Tuesday January 11. The Crusaders overcame a First Quarter deficit of 11-8 and 15-12 at the half. NCA employed a very effective full-court press in the 3rd period to outscore the Barons 23-4 in that period to take a commanding 35-19 lead at the end of the 3rd Quarter.
Luke Bohnsack led the Crusaders in scoring with 13 points including a 3 Point basket. Luke Cromer added 11 points. Cooper Arnold had 10 points including going 6 for 6 from the free throw line. J.R. Kinard rounded out the scoring with 3 points.
NCA improved to 9-1 on the season with the win. The Crusaders will have an opportunity to avenge their only loss of the season when they host East Point at 6PM on Thursday, January 13 in a game that was a late addition to the schedule.
