The middle school football team ran their record to 2-0 with a 28-14 win over Thomas Sumter Thursday night on the road. Kai Finkbeiner had over 100 yards receiving, which included a 29 yard touchdown from BJ Suits for the final score. Christian Hickman rushed for over 100 yards with 2 touchdowns. Christian also returned an interception 52 yards for a score late in the first half. Cason Veasey had several big plays on defense to keep TSA from scoring. The boys will be on the road again next Thursday at Calhoun Academy at 6pm.
