The middle school football Crusaders jumped out to a 38-8 lead over Cardinal Newman before getting some valuable minutes for younger players late in a 38-22 win . BJ Suits connected with Kai Finkbeiner for TD passes of 85 and 28 yards and hooked up with Will Spotts from 55 yards out as well. BJ then capped off the night with 2 TD runs. On defense, Christian Hickman was the standout with 5 tackles for loss as well as 2 passes broken up. BJ Suits also contributed 2 tackles for loss, and interception, and a pass broken up. The MS team is off this week before returning to action on October 6 at Augusta Christian at 6pm
