The Northside Christian Academy Middle School Boys Basketball team posted their highest offensive output of the season in a 61-21 win over Thomas Sumter Academy on Monday January 31st. Eighth graders Bronson Heath, Clayton Hardin, Jeremiah Howard and Max Thomas made their first starts of the season and were among the 14 Crusaders who scored in the contest.
Luke Bohnsack led all scorers with 11 points and had 5 blocks defensively. Jeremiah Howard led the block party with 7 blocked shots on the afternoon to go along with his 2 points offensively. Hunter Peeler added 8 points including 2 3-Pointers. J.R. Kinard had 7 points. Cooper Arnold had 6 points. Clayton Hardin and Sam Taylor each had a 3-Point basket and 5 points total. Bronson Heath and Luke Cromer each had 4 points. Max Thomas, Bishop Allen, Josiah Richardson and Bryson Johnson each had 2 points. B.J. Suits had one point to complete the scoring.
NCA improved to 13-2 on the season and will face Cardinal Newman on Thursday Feb 3 at 5PM and will host Orangeburg Prep on Monday February 7 at 5PM. They will be looking to complete the regular season undefeated in road games and remain unbeaten in Region and SCISA play.
