Middle School Basketball Improve to 11-2 on the Road against TSA

The Northside Christian Academy Middle School Basketball team started fast and didn’t look back in cruising to a 48-9 road win over Thomas Sumter Academy on Monday January 24. The Crusaders sprinted to a 20-0 lead at the end of the 1st Quarter and maintained that margin for a 23-3 Halftime advantage. NCA exploded for 21 3rd Quarter points to take a 44-5 lead after 3 and both teams had 4 points in the 4th period.

Nine Crusaders broke into the scoring column led again by J.R. Kinard with 14. Cooper Arnold had an excellent game defensively and contributed 9 points offensively. Super sub Sam Taylor had 7 points including a 3-Pointer. Luke Bohnsack and Luke Cromer added 5 points each. BJ Suits had 3 points. Hunter Peeler and Clayton Hardin each had 2 points while Joshua Richardson finished with 1 point.

Northside improved to 11-2 overall, while remaining unbeaten in Region and SCISA play. They will host Lee Academy at 4PM on Thursday January 27th in the first of 4 games that day.
