M.S. Boys Basketball Fall to East Point

East Point won a 2nd closely contested game with Northside Christian Academy earning a hard fought 41-37 victory to take the season series in Middle School Boys Basketball. East Point outscored the Crusaders 18-14 in the final period to earn the 4 point win.

J.R. Kinard posted another career high with 23 points to lead all scorers. Cooper Arnold, Luke Cromer and Luke Bohnsack all had 4 points while Hunter Peeler had 3 points.

Coach Shane Richardson said “We reached our highest level of basketball tonight as we learned to deal with adversity.” The 9-2 Crusaders are back in action on Thursday Jan 20th as they travel to Lee Academy for a 5PM tip and look to remain unbeaten in Region play.
