M.S. Boys Basketball Defeat Lee Academy on the Road

Northside Christian's Middle School Boys basketball team improved to 10-2 on the season with an impressive 48-31 at Lee Academy on Thursday January 20. The Crusaders jumped out to a 16-3 lead at the end of the first period and held a 26-14 halftime lead. Northside stretched the lead to 17 at 38-21 the end of the 3rd period and maintained that margain to close out the game.

Eleven of the 14 Crusaders who played were able to score. NCA was again led in scoring by J.R. Kinard with 11 to match his season's average. Luke Bonsack had 8 while controlling the middle of the lane defensively. Hunter Peeler had 6 points. Bronson Heath broke into the scoring column for the first time this season in a big way with a 3-Pointer and then added another bucket for 5 points on the night. Cooper Arnold had 4 points and provided steady point guard play. Josiah Richardson and Bryson Johnson had 3 points. Luke Cromer, Max Thomas, Bishop Allen and Clayton Hardin each had 2 points to complete the scoring.

Northside remains unbeaten in conference and SCISA play on the season. The Crusaders travel to Thomas Sumter on January 24 to take on the Generals at 6PM.
