NCA JV volleyball added to their win streak with a 2-1 victory against a much improved Orangeburg Prep team. Losing the first set 21-25, the Crusaders committed too many passing and hitting errors leading to their downfall.
In sets 2 and 3, both 25-21 scores, NCA improved the passing opportunities resulting in good sets and kills.
Serving was at its best throughout the contest, but the Indians serve receive was much improved.
Leading the way serving was Molly Pantoja with 12 perfect serves and Alana Wilson with 14 for 15 serves and 4 kills. Leah Beck and Aaliyah McDonald each had six kills and Victoria Simmons followed with five. Pantoja was the star on defense with great hustle digs and a 2.3 serve receive effort.
