The JV football team traveled to Spartanburg Christian Friday night to take on their varsity and suffered their fourth loss of the year. There were a few bright spots in the 48-6 loss, including 8th grader Luke Cromer (#10) who continues to impress with both his toughness and his ability. He made a couple of great throws and ran well after filling in at QB on the second series of the night. Freshman Jordan Conner (#22) continues to impress at both LB and running back. He finished with nearly 100 yards rushing again and a TD while leading the team in tackles as well.
Newcomer freshman Logan Taylor (#82) played well at WR and had a 65 yard kick-off return that almost went for 6.
The JV Crusaders will return home this Friday for their last game against New Hope Academy at 7:30. It will be a pink out and we will be honoring our 2 seniors.
