crusaders win big at homecoming

The varsity football team bounced back from consecutive losses Friday night at The Armory behind 152 yards passing from Jeff McCallum who was making his return from an elbow injury. Sam Burks caught two TD passes and JR Kinard grabbed a 50 yard TD reception as well. John Lizewski ran for two scores and broke up several passes on defense. Also on defense, freshman Clayton Hardin had his first career interception and Jake Jeffrey had a 60 yard scoop and score off a fumble. Braeden Patterson also had a big interception. The Crusaders are now 5-2 on the year and will travel to take on Bethesda Friday night at 7:30 in Savannah.
