The JV Crusaders lost a tough game in the rain Thursday night to AAA opponent Fox Creek 6-0. Jordan Conner (#22) and Sam Burks (#3) led the offense with several big runs and pass completions, but the defense set the tone from the get go, only allowing a long punt return for the game’s only points. Landon Folks (#54) was the star on defense racking up 4 tackles, a tackle for loss, a caused fumble, and a fumble recovery. Jake Jeffrey (#7) and Gavin Ford (#44) continued their great play off the edge at OLB and the defensive line did a great job clogging up gaps as well. Jordan Conner (#22) had two huge stops on fourth down, one for a big loss. 8th grade corners Jeremiah Howard (#35) and Luke Cromer (#10) were pressed into duty due to injuries and played awesome as well. We expect everyone at our Friday night Homecoming next week as we take on Edisto at 7:30 pm. #allN
